Welcome to all that encounter this site! I love having my own page where I can express pictures (which I love taking), food (that I love eating) and conversations (that I’m only having with myself, until you begin reading this). I am a 20-something-year-old girl with a passion for many things, including nutrition, food and creativity. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Fresno State in 2015. Since then, I have been able to spread and promote a healthy lifestyle to hundreds of people within my community. For over a year, I have been working with Ooooby (Out of Our Own Backyards), which is essentially like an on-the-go farmers’ market. I encourage you to check it out if you’d like to receive weekly boxes of organic & locally fresh produce and happen to live in the Central Valley. You can even use my promo code: TDSWDJ to get $5 off! 🙂
I understand the importance of food and its presentation partially because my family has owned a mom-and-pop restaurant my entire life. I’ve grown up cooking, learning and watching how food can make people happy and how it can provide so much for a family and community. One of my favorite menu items from Mama Mia’s is our mediterranean pizza, which is topped with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, fresh garlic, and feta cheese. Oh yeahhhhhh.
It isn’t realistic to go from eating fast food daily to eating 100% squeeky clean overnight and no one is perfect. However, we can all make a conscious effort toward adding in a little more feel-good-foods. I hope the recipes on my blog, Nutritious, Delicious, & Nothing Suspicious, give you some ideas and inspiration to do so.
Anyway, stay tuned for what posts will be posted, what pictures will be picked, and what words will be worded. Hope you enjoy my blog!
